Stay in the cottage where Cocopah owner, Ann Fabricant raised her son and founded Arizona’s oldest bead store.
Cocopah Cottage has been restored to pristine condition including forced air heating and air conditioning. It’s only five minutes to all shopping, restaurants and entertainment. You can walk down to join us for “tea time” and bead-stringing at Cocopah North or visit our store in Tlaquepaque right across the street.
The cottage has a red rock stone foundation, a flagstone patio, and garden, two bedrooms, one full bathroom, one three-quarter bathroom, kitchen, and living room upstairs, downstairs game room and storeroom. There is off-street parking for three vehicles.
The sunny living room has a large working red rock fireplace and spacious picture windows with excellent views, antique oak furniture, new designer Southwest sofa bed with upgraded queen-size mattress, leather easy chair, 32 inch flat screen TV with cable, internet access, Bose wave radio and CD player, library of contemporary fiction, Southwest and Native American history.
Country kitchen is reminiscent of an old farm kitchen with its original oak floors and cabinets. Features include a gas stove, microwave oven, washing machine and dryer, electric coffee maker, French coffee press, coffee grinder, bamboo steamer, toaster, cast iron skillets, stainless steel cookware, silverware and dishes for eight, placemats, napkins, towels and cleaning supplies.
Master bedroom has original oak floors and a new queen-size sleep number bed with brass headboard and antique furnishings. Closet is stocked with iron, ironing board and hair dryer. Second bedroom has a double bed, ample closets and en suite bathroom with tub.
