The hand-carved serpentine pendant is the character for 'double happiness.' It doubles the character for happiness and is associated with love and marriage. Anchored with gold-filled wire to an antique Chinese coin (circa 1850) and strung on 10mm Ivory Jade, it promises abundance and happiness. The warm butterscotch colors harmonize with any palette and offer an elegance usually not found in a necklace for under $300, finished.
