Zuni Indian artist, Emory Eriacho, carved this Arizona turquoise bear for us. The bear, representing strength and courage, is wrapped with sterling wire and strung with our hand-painted pottery beads, shell heishi, a mercury dime wrapped in sterling, 9 sterling silver beads, 48 nuggets of Arizona turquoise, red jasper and Peruvian Indian clay beads to make a necklace based on traditional Pueblo medicine pieces. Necklace is 32", double strands, and the kit contains a layout of the design, instructions, stringing material, sterling clasp and crimps.
