Tube Coral custom-made for the American Indian Trade

This cut of Coral was an important trade item in the Southwest where both Navajo and Pueblo Indians favored it for creating multi-strand necklaces, so significant in their cultural identity. These beads came out of an old trading post in New Mexico.

The individual beads are approximately 4-5mm wide and 1/2" long. Strands are approximately 18" long.
