Recycling supreme! These beads are cut from shards of 1st-century Roman glass, a precursor to the technology that gave us trade beads, the most viable currency with tribal people from the 14th century on. These strands are delicate shades of blue, turquoise, opal and bottle green. The beads are 3-4mm in size and the strands are 15" long. We see them as an exquisite choker, a multi-strand with maybe Turquoise, Lapis, Opal...? Possibly to string with an antique pendant. We only wish they could speak and tell us of their long journey through human history.
