This is one of Chris' breakthrough 'Stained Glass' creations. Set on a base of Jet (coal lignite), it incorporates Turquoise, Lapis, Spiny Oyster, White Marble, and Mother-of-Pearl, strung on Chris' hand-cut heishi. Necklace is 20" long; pendant is 5" long; inlaid tabs are 2" long.

Chris attended Santa Fe Indian School, but had actually started cutting heishi when he was six years old and began inlaying when he was ten years old. He has served as War Chief at Kewa, responsible for preserving authenticity in all ceremonies.
