This delicate choker features the very finest of historic Southwestern beads: rare #8 Spiderweb Turquoise from the Nevada mine that closed in the 1960s, strung with1.5mm Italian Coral. Coral was introduced to Native Americans in the 1700s by Spanish explorers and quickly became one the most sought after trade items . The inspired pairing of Turquoise and Coral is the defining Southwestern look… rapidly disappearing as all the Turquoise mines in the Southwest close down and the Coral reefs die.

Necklace finishes to 17 1/2" and the kit includes stringing material, instructions. sterling silver clasp, crimps, and end beads.
